Bennett’s Secret
It’s no mystery why Bennett’s Bar-B-Que meals are so moist, tender and packed full of flavor. First our pork ribs, chicken, chopped pork and beef briskets are basted in Bennett’s own special sauce, then they’re set over smoldering hickory wood and smoked for up to 14 hours. The heat and sauce penetrate deep into every layer of meat; turning it a perfect pinkish color while enriching every juicy mouthful with rich, smoky flavor. Since everyone likes different amounts of our mouth-waterin’ sauce, we serve it warm on the side so you can pour on as much or as little as you like. I have traveled all over the US and all over the world and your ribs are absolutely THE BEST!! Thanks! Just wanted to let you know we’ve been to your Gatlinburg and Sevierville locations many times when we vacationed in the Smokies. We love your food, especially the sauce. We always bought a case of your sauce to take home to Michigan. Now we are a little farther away and fortunately we planned ahead. We bought our case of sauce and brought it to Stuttgart, Germany with us! I don’t know if this is the furthest your sauce has traveled, but it might be. Just wanted to let you know when we get a little homesick, this helps lift our spirits. See you in about 3 years when we move back to the states.

The best thing I ever ate for Thanksgiving wasn’t your traditional turkey, potatoes and stuffing. It wasn’t pumpkin pie or green bean casserole–no, not even sweet potatoes or grandma’s
homemade rolls.

This year it was barbeque baby back ribs from my favorite rib joint in the world–Bennett’s
in Gatlinburg.

They had a traditional buffet with all the usual expected holiday goodies. But, when you go to Bennett’s you go for barbeque and that’s what my husband and I had.

We didn’t care that almost everyone around us was munching down on turkey and all the fixings. We came for that hickory smoked flavor and I don’t mean in a turkey (although they had that too).

You can get turkey any old time–but only when you are in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge Tennessee can you find the most delectable perfectly cooked baby back ribs and pulled pork.

This holiday I am thankful for all the traditional things–family, friends, health–and, we celebrated the traditional way the Saturday before. But I am especially thankful for the baby back ribs at Bennett’s Barbeque in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on the Little Pigeon River and that I could share them with my husband in a little log cabin on the ridge of a mountain in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Brought some home so if you hurry, you might get a bone or two…

“This is a nice little restaurant (with saloon) across from the tram. Greeted quickly, we were seated and a bubbly great waitress (Stephanie) was there to help. I ordered ribs, pulled pork, brisket, beans and corn on cob. Drinks came in pint or quart mason jars (remember Po’ Folks?). The food was great;…Definitely will return to eat here”

We went out to Bennetts for dinner while in Pigeon Forge, and had the best experience. The waiter, from Boston, was so friendly and kind. The atmosphere was fun and warm without being hyper. The food was outstanding!!!!!!, and reasonably priced. How do you know you have good food??? When the vegetarian with us said your salad was very fresh! I felt sorry for her, that she was missing the mouth-watering pulled pork and smoked chicken. Yeah…….. After all the horrible food in Pigeon Forge, we are still dreaming about our night out at Bennett’s. I intend to have some BBQ sauce sent to our house!

I came here to eat, hungry as I could be. Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que filled that need for me. A loaded baked potato hit the spot. The Blackberry Cobbler
so delicious is what I got! So Full, Happy and Content I didn’t know where to stop.

Good Morning!

My family recently stayed in Pigeon Forge and had Bennett’s cater one of our meals. I was extremely hesitant about booking a catering order from SC without having a chance to taste test the food first. I did my research on your website and was a little nervous but booked the catering order. I was thinking that the food would be good enough to satisfy our hunger, but SURELY it wouldn’t be good enough to please the self proclaimed BBQ experts in my family. The delivery driver was extremely courteous, arrived earlier than expected and setup all the food. As soon as the first family members started eating, I could hear sounds of approval. I couldn’t wait to try it. I must admit that the BBQ was some of the BEST that I’ve ever had. Being from SC and from a family that BBQs all the time, I thought I had tasted the BEST in BBQ—that was until I had Bennett’s! I’ve only been home 3 days, but I’ve already started recommending your restaurant to friends that will be visiting the area soon. You are definitely now my family’s restaurant of choice when visiting the area!!
